Trenching under existing utilities.
Equipment used Cat 320c with HRC60 cutter attachment.
New expansion to the Roseville Galleria, into existing parking lot. Sewer and other utilities roughed into expansion area. More than 40 utilities crossing, in cement like conglomerate called (Merton).
The HRC60 was the perfect size tool. Teirgert was using a breaker, and was taking more then 4 hrs of tedious careful breaking to under cut utility line crossings. Our tool was grinding under the same crossing in less then 1hr and was able to grind a tunnel at bottom of trench leaving the rock under pipe bedding for extra support of existing infrastructure.
